Healthy skin is the number one indicator of the woman’s health. Today I want to tell you how to take care of your skin and prolong your beauty.

#1 Oily skin
There is no way to change your skin from oily to normal. However, proper care will definitely help you to prevent such serious issues as acne. The main thing here is to control the production of skin oil, or sebum, preventing pores clogging.

Some believe that frequent washing helps to reduce the amount of sebum. In fact, this only dries out all the natural moisturizes, as the result, the oil production increases. For that reason it’s better to clean your face twice a day – once in the morning and the second time before bed.

Be sure you remove your make-up before going to sleep, so that your pores won’t get clogged. Stay off waterproof makeup, this is usually oil-based and results in clogging your pores.

Pay special attention to the skin products you use. Choose special non-soap and alcohol free cleanser for oily skin. The same thing is with moisturizer. Get one with light texture and no oil in order not to boost the sebum production. It’s better to avoid smoking and sun exposure: this can lead to saggy pores, loose skin and even wrinkles.

#2 Dry skin
The skin dryness is caused by the lack of water in the
epidermis, the superficial skin layer. This depends on the level of humidity and amount of water vapor in the air. The main principle of taking care of dry skin is proper moisturizing. Otherwise, the dryness will progress much deeper, thus disrupting the deeper layers of the skin.

The daily routine for dry skin includes buying appropriate products: skin cleansers, moisturizers and sunscreens. You can bravely go for water-based cleansers with moisturizers if your skin is slightly dry. The oil-based ones is a wise choice for treating the extremely dry skin.

#3 Combination skin
Women often claim that they cannot find out which skin type they have. This happens when a person has oily skin on chin, nose and forehead and at the same time dry skin on cheeks. In this case, such skin is called combination skin. There are two main problems with this skin type. First of all, a woman can simply make wrong conclusions about her type of skin, thus choosing products exclusively for one problem. Secondly, it is sometimes problematic to choose proper skin care products.

The trick here is to know when to make accents on which zones. The most common case for combination skin is when it is oilier in the summer and extremely dry in winter. In spring and fall the situation is a bit more complicated as your cheeks are already dry, while T-zone is still oily.

If you have combination skin, choose the skin care products according to the time of the year. Use a moisturizer only for the dry spots, and don’t forget about the cleanser that reduces the production of skin oil. Remember not to over-cleanse your skin, because this will only lead to sebum overproduction. Moisturize with a light, oil-free cream in the summer and with a heavier one during the winter.

#4 Normal ski
The most common misperception about normal skin type is that it means no skin issues at all. However, if you have some concerns, you still can have normal skin. Another popular illusion is that normal skin needs no treatment at all.

The truth is that without proper treatment your skin can even change from normal to dry or oily. Plus, choosing the wrong products isn’t the only danger. The skin is influenced as well by hormone level and our diet. Mind that excessive sun exposure isn’t healthy for skin as well.

Dear ladies! Don’t put off the question of skin care because the lack of time or your laziness. I wish all of you to stay fresh and beautiful!
